This article was very interesting in why students were not doing well. I feel as though many students would even further develop their writing skills if they would be able to have a free write before they would write for meaning. I feel as though a free write or writing about something that they know or want to write about would "start the juices flowing."
I really enjoyed that article- I am very happy for those students that were able to gain confidence and feel like 'they could do!' Thank you for sharing!
